2016 Ford Fiesta 1.6L Petrol · RY16 AXG

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a remarkably consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted on 27 March 2026 at 20,730 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, maintaining a stable maintenance trend over the last five years. This streak of perfect results suggests the vehicle has been well-maintained and lacks recurring mechanical failures or structural degradation within the testing period. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a ten-year-old Ford, averaging approximately 2,073 miles per year. Between March 2022 at 14,810 miles and March 2026 at 20,730 miles, the car covered only 5,920 miles, indicating very infrequent use or long periods of storage. This pattern of usage typically reduces wear and tear on the drivetrain, engine components, and suspension bushings. While the low mileage is a positive indicator for longevity, it also introduces risks related to the degradation of rubber components and brake components due to limited motion. Despite the clean record, a buyer must inspect specific areas prone to issues in low-mileage vehicles. You should check for flat spots on the tyres, cracking in the sidewalls due to age, and corrosion on the brake discs and calipers from sitting stationary. Inspect the undercarriage for any signs of fluid leaks or perished rubber hoses that may have degraded during idle periods. Given the vehicle's age relative to its mileage, verifying the condition of the timing belt and fluids is essential, as these components age over time regardless of distance driven.
