2017 Volkswagen Golf 1.6L Diesel · SB67 FOA

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status based on the last five annual inspections. The most recent test conducted on 23 October 2025 resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This trend of clean passes extends back through the recorded history beginning October 2021, indicating that the vehicle has consistently met minimum legal safety standards over the last four years. The recorded mileage of 43,606 miles is significantly low for a nine-year-old vehicle, resulting in an average usage of approximately 4,845 miles per year. This low-intensity usage suggests limited mechanical wear on drivetrain components and the engine compared to higher-mile examples. The data shows a consistent testing pattern with entries occurring roughly every twelve months in October, which reflects a regular approach to annual compliance despite the low distance accumulation. Because the MOT history shows no recurring faults or flagged areas, a buyer should focus on inspecting components associated with low-mileage vehicles. Long periods of standing can lead to degradation of rubber components, such as suspension bushes and tyre sidewalls, regardless of tread depth. An inspection should check the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting, as infrequently used brakes often develop oxidation that affects stopping performance. Additionally, the buyer should verify fluid levels and check for leaks to ensure the low mileage has not masked seal-related issues over time. Buying score: 82 Risk level: Low.
