2022 Carthago 2.1L Diesel · SF22 AMX

A consistent track record of clean roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with the two most recent inspections showing no recorded defects or advisories. The latest test on 03 July 2026 resulted in a pass with zero issues flagged, matching the clean result from the previous year on 18 July 2025. This lack of recorded failures or advisories across the available testing history indicates that the components subject to MOT inspection have remained within legal tolerances during these specific test intervals. The recorded mileage of 16,739 miles against a four-year age profile represents a relatively low annual accumulation of approximately 4,185 miles. This usage pattern suggests the vehicle has been driven significantly less than the UK average, which typically involves higher annual mileage. Mechanically, this lower frequency of use means that high-wear components such as brake discs, pads, and tyres may have more remaining life than a higher-mileage equivalent, though it also means the vehicle has undergone fewer heat cycles and mechanical stress events over its lifespan. Because the MOT history is entirely devoid of advisories, there are no specific mechanical warnings regarding corrosion, fluid leaks, or suspension wear to scrutinise. On a test drive, focus should be placed on ensuring the low-mileage usage has not resulted in any stiction or seized components. Listen for any unusual knocks or rattles from the suspension bushes or coil springs when traversing uneven surfaces, and check for any pulling to one side during straight-line driving which could indicate tyre flat-spotting or minor alignment shifts from periods of inactivity. Verify the smoothness of the braking system by checking for any pedal judder or binding sensations that might suggest uneven pad deposit on the discs. Since no oil misting or leaks were noted in the official records, observe the ground beneath the vehicle after it has been stationary to confirm the integrity of the engine and transmission seals. The absence of recorded defects suggests that the primary mechanical systems were functioning correctly at the time of the July 2026 inspection.
