2024 MCV BE Electric · SF74 YOM

The most recent MOT, carried out on 6 August 2025 at 35,478 miles, was a clean pass with no defects recorded. With only a single MOT entry there is no evidence of recurring mechanical problems, so the vehicle’s condition trend appears stable rather than worsening. At roughly 35,500 miles the car is about two years old, giving an average of just under 18,000 miles per year. That mileage is higher than typical for a 2024 model, which suggests the drivetrain, suspension, brakes and other wear‑items have been exercised more heavily than on a low‑mileage example. The higher usage does not automatically mean a problem, but it does increase the likelihood that components such as clutch, CV joints, shock absorbers and brake pads may be nearer the end of their service life. Because the MOT history is limited to one clean pass, there is no clear pattern of deterioration, but the mileage signal alone flags potential wear. The vehicle could be in good mechanical order if it has been well maintained, yet the high annual mileage means a buyer should treat consumables as a priority. Key checks for a prospective buyer - Examine the condition of the brakes (pads, discs and any rust on the rotors) and test the pedal feel for any sponginess. - Inspect the suspension and steering components for leaks, worn bushings or uneven tyre wear that might indicate underlying wear. - Verify the service history and look for recent replacements of major wear items such as clutch, timing belt/chain, CV joints or shock absorbers.
