2011 Suzuki Swift 1.2L Petrol · SH61 ACV

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness evidenced by a consistently clean MOT history over the last five years. The most recent test on 7 November 2025 at 99,409 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This stable maintenance trend suggests that the previous owners have maintained a proactive approach to upkeep, addressing potential mechanical or safety issues before they resulted in a test failure. The mileage pattern is consistent with a low-use vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 6,600 miles per annum. Between November 2021 at 66,867 miles and October 2024 at 89,772 miles, the car covered roughly 23,000 miles, showing steady but predictable usage. The interval of 9,637 miles recorded between the 2024 and 2025 tests indicates regular operation, which typically prevents the degradation of seals and suspension components compared to high-mileage counterparts. While the MOT history shows no recurring faults, a physical inspection should focus on age-related degradation that does not always trigger a MOT test failure. A buyer should examine the chassis for structural corrosion, particularly along the sills and wheel arches, which are common areas for older Suzuki Swifts. Given the low mileage, check the rubber components such as suspension bushes and brake boots for cracking or per, as these perish over time regardless of the distance driven.
