A consistent track record of roadworthiness characterizes this vehicle, with a history largely devoid of defects or advisories, including the most recent pass on 9 October 2025. The overall trend is stable, although the record is interrupted by a failure on 7 August 2023, for which no specific defects were detailed. The absence of recurring advisories suggests a lack of chronic mechanical deterioration over the recorded testing periods. The recorded mileage of 121,924 miles over ten years represents a high annual average of approximately 12,192 miles. This usage profile indicates significant wear on the drivetrain, suspension components, and various consumables compared to a lower-mileage example. There is also a notable gap in the testing history between October 2020 and June 2022, which suggests a period of reduced use or an irregularity in the testing cycle. Given the high mileage and the all-wheel-drive configuration, the test drive should focus on detecting wear in the suspension linkages and steering rack. Listen for knocks or clunks when traversing bumps and feel for any steering pull or instability at motorway speeds. Particular attention should be paid to the operation of the symmetrical all-wheel-drive system to ensure there is no binding or shuddering during tight, low-speed turns. A physical inspection should prioritize the underbody and engine bay for signs of oil misting or leaks, which frequently occur on high-mileage units before they are flagged as MOT failures. Examine the brake discs for scoring and the pads for uneven wear. Finally, check the structural integrity of the subframe for surface corrosion, as these areas are susceptible to wear over a decade of use regardless of the clean MOT history.
