2017 Mercedes-Benz C 2.0L Petrol · SL17 LZA

The vehicle presents an exceptionally clean roadworthiness profile with a perfectly stable maintenance trend across its history. The most recent test conducted on 30 May 2025 at 34,108 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This consistent clean sheet over four consecutive years suggests the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard and has not suffered the mechanical or structural degradation typically seen in older German cars. The mileage pattern is notably low for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 3,800 miles per year. Between November 2021 at 22,824 miles and November 2023 at 33,191 miles, the car covered roughly 10,000 miles, while the interval between the November 2023 test and the May 2025 test saw only 1,000 miles driven. This low annual usage indicates minimal wear on the drivetrain and engine components, though it introduces potential risks associated with long periods of inactivity. While the MOT record shows no recorded faults, a physical inspection should focus on components affected by low-mileage operation. Low-use vehicles often suffer from brake corrosion or caliper seizing due to lack of thermal cycling, so the buyer should check the discs for pitting and ensure the pistons move freely. Additionally, rubber components such as suspension bushes and tyre sidewalls should be inspected for cracking or dry rot, as these materials degrade over time regardless of the distance driven.
