2005 Nissan 350Z 3.5L Petrol · SLZ 5547

The most recent MOT from May 2025 resulted in a pass with no defects recorded, which is a positive sign for the vehicle's current roadworthiness. The overall mechanical pattern is exceptionally clean, with no defects noted across the three available entries. This indicates a stable condition trend, as the vehicle has consistently passed its tests without requiring corrective repairs for safety or emissions. The recorded mileage of 64,017 miles is very low for a 21-year-old car, averaging roughly 3,048 miles per year. While this suggests minimal wear on the engine and drivetrain, such low usage often implies the vehicle has spent long periods standing. There is a notable gap in the MOT history between 2017 and 2023, which strongly suggests the car may have been stored or off the road for several years. Because the car has likely experienced periods of under-use, the primary risk is not wear and tear, but degradation due to inactivity. Components made of rubber or those that rely on constant lubrication can perish or seize when a vehicle is not driven regularly. A buyer should first inspect the condition of all rubber bushings, hoses, and tyres for cracking or perishing. It is also essential to check for seized brake calipers and ensure that all essential fluids have been refreshed recently to account for the long periods of inactivity.
