2011 Bentley Continental 6.0L Petrol · SO55 YJO

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, showing a consistent pass record following a minor compliance failure. The most recent inspection conducted in June 2023 at 68,748 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories. This follows a period of clean results in 2021 and 2022, indicating that the vehicle has maintained its operational standards over the last three testing cycles. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 2011 registration, averaging approximately 4,583 miles per year. Between March 2020 and June 2023, the car covered only 2,870 miles, suggesting long periods of stationary use or storage. While this low mileage typically reduces wear on the engine and drivetrain, the gaps between tests can lead to the degradation of rubber-based components and fluid chemistry which are not captured by mileage figures alone. A buyer should note the single failure recorded in March 2020 at 65,878 miles, which was caused by a significant sidewall cut on the nearside rear outer tyre. While this issue was rectified immediately, the age of the vehicle necessitates a thorough physical inspection of the air suspension system and associated bushings. Low-mileage luxury vehicles of this era often suffer from perished seals and bushings due to lack of mechanical movement. Inspection of the brake discs and own for corrosion or binding is also advised, as infrequent use can lead to surface rust and seized braking hardware.
