2015 Subaru Levorg 1.6L Petrol · SV65 AVR

The 2015 Subaru Levorg remains roadworthy based on its latest MOT on 2025-05-23 at 23,208 miles, which recorded no defects. The maintenance trend shows stability over the past five years, with all tests passing without issues. No recurring mechanical faults or structural concerns were flagged in the recorded history, indicating consistent upkeep. However, the four-year gap between the 2020-10-08 test (19,001 miles) and the 2024-05-30 test (19,855 miles) raises questions about potential undetected issues during this period. The vehicle’s low mileage of 23,208 miles over 11 years equates to approximately 2,110 miles annually, significantly below the UK average. This suggests either light usage or prolonged periods of inactivity, which can accelerate component degradation. Notably, the 2018-09-20 test (12,302 miles) and 2019-09-19 test (16,141 miles) show gradual mileage growth, but the 2020-10-08 test recorded only 19,001 miles—indicating a possible pause in operation. Such patterns may correlate with dry-rotting tyres, seized suspension components, or battery failure, warranting closer inspection. A buyer should prioritise checking the suspension system for worn bushes or coil springs, as prolonged inactivity can cause stiffness or failure. Brake discs and calipers should be assessed for corrosion or binding, while the exhaust system requires scrutiny for rust. The lack of data between 2020 and 2024 means hidden issues could exist, necessitating a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Despite the clean MOT record, the vehicle’s low-mileage history and extended inactivity periods demand careful evaluation of its mechanical and structural condition.
