2015 Land Rover Range Rover A-Biography TDV6 A 3.0L Heavy oil · SW65 VBD

The most recent MOT test conducted on 13 March 2026 resulted in a pass with no recorded defects, indicating the vehicle was in a roadworthy condition at that time. Looking at the broader maintenance trend, the vehicle demonstrates a highly stable and improving history. While an advisory was noted in 2019 regarding a corroded offside rear brake pipe and a damaged tyre rim protector, no further issues have been raised in the seven years following that inspection. This suggests that the previous advisory was likely rectified and that the vehicle has been subject to diligent upkeep and consistent maintenance in recent years. With a recorded mileage of 90,584 miles over approximately eleven years, the vehicle has averaged roughly 8,235 miles per year. This usage profile is considered moderate and sits well within the typical range for a premium SUV of this age. This level of mileage is beneficial as it suggests the vehicle has not been subjected to the extreme mechanical strain associated with very high-mileage commercial use, yet it has likely been driven frequently enough to prevent the common issues associated with long periods of inactivity, such as seized brake calipers or internal engine component degradation. Given the recent clean MOT history, your inspection should focus on age-related degradation rather than immediate mechanical failure. Closely examine the tyres for any signs of sidewall perishing or cracking, which can occur even if the tread depth remains substantial. On your test drive, pay particular attention to the suspension system; listen for any clunks or knocks over uneven surfaces and monitor the vehicle's ride height to ensure the air suspension system is operating smoothly without excessive compressor cycling or sagging when the vehicle is stationary. You should also inspect the braking system for any signs of uneven wear or binding calipers, which can occur if the vehicle has spent time standing. Check the brake discs for heavy surface corrosion or pitting. Furthermore, because this is a premium Land Rover, verify the service history to ensure that time-sensitive maintenance, such as brake fluid changes, coolant refreshes, and oil services, has been performed according to the manufacturer's intervals rather than just mileage. Finally, perform a visual check of the underside for any fresh fluid leaks or signs of rising corrosion on the exhaust and structural components to ensure the 2019 brake pipe advisory remains a resolved matter.
