2016 Renault Master 2.3L Diesel · SY16 BNA

The Renault Master demonstrates a stable and clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent MOT records. Since the test conducted on 14 February 2024 at 83,642 miles resulted in a pass with zero defects, the vehicle currently maintains a high standard of compliance. The absence of advisories across the last three inspections indicates that the vehicle has been subjected to consistent maintenance and that no recurring mechanical failures are currently impacting its operation. The recorded mileage of 83,642 miles over a ten-year lifespan averages approximately 8,364 miles per annum, which is consistent with typical light commercial usage. The data shows a period of very low usage between the January 2022 test at 79,804 miles and the January 2023 test at 80,243 miles, where the vehicle covered fewer than 500 miles. This suggests the van may have experienced a period of inactivity or storage, which warrants a closer look at potential issues associated with standing vehicles, such as seized components or degraded fluids. Prospective buyers should focus their physical inspection on components that often deteriorate during periods of low usage or age-related exposure. While the MOT history is clean, inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting that can develop when a vehicle sits idle. Check the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of perishing rubber or fatigue, as these are common wear items on the Renault Master platform. Confirm that the tyres show even wear patterns and verify that the underside remains free of structural corrosion, as the clean MOT record does not preclude the development of hidden surface rust on the chassis or sills.
