1999 Aprilia Pegaso 650 0.7L Petrol · T754 LJN

The vehicle presents a stable maintenance profile with a clean record in its most recent inspections. The March 2026 test at 72,307 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded, maintaining a consistent standard of roadworthiness seen throughout the last several years. This follows a period of clean passes in 2025 and 2024, suggesting that the motorcycle has been well-maintained and that any previous minor issues have been addressed. The mileage accumulation is notably low for a 1999 model, averaging approximately 2,678 miles per year. The data shows very gradual usage, with only 1,456 miles covered between the February 2024 and February 2025 tests, and a further 1,457 miles between February 2025 and March 2026. While this low usage indicates light operation, the long intervals between tests and the minimal annual distance suggest the vehicle may spend significant time stationary. Such patterns can sometimes lead to issues with rubber components or fluid degradation, though the MOT history does not currently flag these. The historical record shows minimal mechanical intervention. A rear tyre worn close to the legal limit was noted in the March 2021 test at 70,093 miles, but this appears to be a standard consumable wear issue rather than a systemic failure. Corrosion was flagged on the rear wheel during the December 2009 test at 54,273 miles, though the tester noted it did not significantly reduce the original strength. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on age-related degradation that the MOT might not fully capture. Given the low mileage and potential for long periods of standing, check for perished tyres, cracked fork seals, and any signs of fuel system degradation. Inspect the rear wheel for any progression of the corrosion noted in 2009 and verify the condition of all rubber suspension bushes and brake lines to ensure they have not perished due to inactivity.
