2022 KIA Niro 4 HEV S-A 1.6L Hybrid electric (clean) · V17 CAV

A consistent track record of clean roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with the most recent MOT on 2025-09-10 showing no recorded defects. This absence of failures or advisories across the recorded history indicates that the primary structural and safety-critical components have met the required standards without the presence of noted corrosion, fluid leaks, or mechanical wear in the braking and suspension systems during the testing periods. The recorded mileage of 27,710 miles over approximately four years reflects a usage pattern of roughly 6,928 miles per year, which aligns with typical UK average annual mileage. This moderate accumulation suggests that components such as the braking system, suspension bushes, and tyre tread are unlikely to have reached extreme wear levels associated with high-mileage commercial or long-distance motorway use, yet the vehicle has been sufficiently utilised to avoid the potential issues associated with long periods of inactivity. Given the lack of specific defects or advisories in the DVSA history, a physical inspection should focus on verifying the current state of consumables that are not always the primary focus of an MOT. On a test drive, pay close attention to the steering response and listen for any knocks or knocks from the suspension linkages when traversing uneven surfaces, as well as any unusual vibrations through the brake pedal during deceleration. While the official records show no issues, the buyer should also inspect the condition of the brake discs for scoring and ensure there is no uneven wear on the tyres, which could indicate alignment issues. Checking for any signs of oil misting around the engine or drivetrain components during a stationary inspection is also advisable to confirm the continued integrity of the seals and gaskets.
