1999 Kawasaki ZR-7 0.7L Petrol · V284 ECH

The 1999 Kawasaki ZR-7 presents a stable and clean roadworthiness profile, with the most recent DVSA test on 20 May 2024 at 52,578 miles returning a pass and no defects recorded. Across the five available MOT entries from 2020 to 2024, the machine cleared every examination without advisories or failures. The maintenance trend is resolving to a steady state, showing no worsening mechanical or structural concerns over the observed period. Recorded mileage sits at 52,578 against an age of roughly 27 years, equating to about 1,947 miles per annum. The odometer moved only 896 miles between the June 2020 test at 51,682 and the May 2024 test at 52,578. Such low annual use implies extended standing periods. The sparse, defect-free record gives no evidence of rapid accumulation or neglected intervals, though the limited test history means pre-2020 condition remains undocumented. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of suspension bushes, fork seals, and rear shock damping, as low-mileage machines left idle often develop perishing rubber and seized linkages not captured in a static MOT. Brake calipers and discs warrant checks for binding or corrosion after standing, despite no tester flags. Structural frame and exhaust integrity should be examined for hidden rust, particularly around welds and the centre stand mount, given the vehicle's age and likely outdoor storage.
