2017 Audi TT 2.0L Petrol · V6 AKM

The vehicle remains roadworthy, having passed its most recent inspection in February 2026. The maintenance trend appears stable, though the record shows a recurring issue with tyre condition. In the two most recent tests, the tester flagged the offside front tyre as being close to the legal limit and worn on the edge, yet this advisory persisted from one annual test to the next. This suggests a failure to address specific consumable wear rather than a systemic mechanical failure. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a nine-year-old vehicle, totaling only 14,375 miles at an average of approximately 1,600 miles per year. The data shows consistent intervals between 2022 and 2026, with the car covering between 1,600 and 2,100 miles annually. While this low usage typically reduces mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine, such long periods of inactivity can lead to secondary degradation such as dry rubber components, perished seals, or surface corrosion on brake discs due to lack of use. A buyer should specifically inspect the front suspension and alignment to explain the recurring edge wear noted on the offside front tyre. This pattern of wear often points to incorrect geometry or worn suspension bushes rather than simple tyre age. Given the low mileage, a physical check of the brake calipers for seizing and the condition of the fluids is essential, as these are common failure points for vehicles that remain stationary for extended periods.
