2016 Lexus CT 1.8L Hybrid electric · VA66 BDU

The vehicle has maintained a stable roadworthiness record over the past five years, with all tests passing without defects, except for a minor advisory in the 2023 test regarding a damaged windscreen that did not impair visibility. The most recent test in December 2025 at 25,198 miles confirmed the vehicle's compliance with roadworthiness standards. The absence of recurring advisories or failures suggests consistent maintenance and care. The mileage pattern shows a steady annual accumulation of approximately 2,520 miles, which is unusually low for a vehicle of this age. The recorded mileage between tests ranges from 1,902 miles in 2022 to 2,202 miles in 2023, indicating a consistent but lighter-than-average usage. The low mileage may reflect periods of inactivity or reduced driving, which could have implications for the wear of consumables like tyres, wiper blades, and brake pads, as well as the condition of suspension components and drivetrain parts. A potential buyer should inspect the vehicle for signs of underuse, such as stiff suspension due to lack of movement, or excessive wear on components that typically degrade with mileage. The suspension system, including coil springs and bushes, may require closer examination for signs of wear or damage. The brakes should be checked for uneven wear or binding calipers, as low mileage could indicate less frequent use of the braking system. The exhaust system should be inspected for signs of corrosion or leaks, which may have been less pronounced due to reduced driving. Additionally, the vehicle's structural integrity should be assessed for any signs of corrosion, particularly in areas prone to moisture, such as the undercarriage and wheel arches.
