The vehicle remains roadworthy, but the maintenance record shows a worsening trend regarding suspension-related corrosion. While the most recent test in April 2025 at 93,195 miles was a pass, it introduced new advisories for corrosion on both front and rear coil springs. This represents a progression from the 2024 and 2023 tests, where only the rear upper springs were flagged, indicating that surface oxidation is now actively spreading across the suspension assembly. At 23 years old, the recorded mileage of 93,195 miles is remarkably low, averaging approximately 4,050 miles per year. The data shows consistent, low-intensity usage, with only 2,401 miles driven between April 2024 and April 2025. This low mileage suggests less mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine, but it often correlates with the accelerated degradation of rubber components and the accumulation of corrosion, as seen in the deteriorating anti-roll bar linkage dust covers and registration plates noted throughout the test history. A buyer must conduct a thorough physical inspection of the coil springs and suspension components to determine if the corrosion has moved beyond surface level. The recurring failure of the anti-roll bar linkage dust cover in 2023 suggests that rubber bushings are perished due to age rather than use. Additionally, the persistent deterioration of the registration plates and the headlamp lens requires attention, as these items have been flagged across multiple years without being replaced, indicating a lack of proactive cosmetic maintenance.
