2011 Vauxhall Astra 1.7L Diesel · VO11 AEX

The Vauxhall Astra shows a passed MOT as of 9 January 2023 at 149,316 miles with no defects recorded, indicating the vehicle held a roadworthy status at its last examination. The maintenance trend across the supplied records reads as stable, with no advisories or mechanical faults logged at any stage. Two failed tests on 3 January 2023 and 9 December 2021 at identical mileages to the subsequent passes suggest administrative or presentation issues at the testing station rather than latent mechanical defects. Mileage accumulation sits at a typical 9,954 miles per year for a 2011 vehicle, with the odometer reading 121,140 miles in December 2020, 132,596 miles in December 2021, and 149,316 miles by January 2023. The 11,456-mile gain across 2021 and 16,720-mile gain across 2022 reflect consistent use rather than standing periods or rapid accumulation. A notable gap exists before the 2020 entry, leaving earlier wear patterns unverified, though the clean later record implies reasonable upkeep from that point. The absence of recorded defects across all tests means no recurring suspension bushes, coil spring, brake disc, or corrosion problems appear in the data. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity, exhaust emissions, and binding calipers given the car's fifteen-year age and 149,000-mile tally. The twin fail-pass pairs at matching mileages warrant confirmation that no suppressed advisory or minor consumable wear such as tyre tread or wiper blades was overlooked at those visits.
