2015 Volvo V70 2.0L Diesel · VU15 AEE

The vehicle cleared its most recent MOT on 3 July 2024 at 212,248 miles, indicating it meets the statutory roadworthiness criteria at that point. With no recorded defects in the 2024, 2023 and 2022 examinations, the maintenance pattern appears stable rather than deteriorating. Mileage has risen from 170,357 miles in July 2022 to 212,248 miles in July 2024, an average of roughly 21,000 miles per year. For a 2015 model this is considerably above the typical annual run‑off, suggesting sustained use and accelerated wear on consumable items. The record shows no gaps in testing; each July the vehicle was presented for MOT, providing a clear chronology of mileage progression. Even though the MOT reports list no failures, a buyer should verify the condition of wear‑related components. Inspect tyre tread depth and sidewall integrity, confirm that suspension bushes and coil springs show no excessive play or corrosion, and check brake discs and pads for uneven wear or glazing. Examine the exhaust system for rust or leaks and look for any early signs of structural corrosion around wheel arches and undercarriage. A hands‑on assessment of these areas will confirm whether the high mileage has been managed with appropriate upkeep or if hidden deterioration may affect future reliability.
