2015 Nissan Navara 2.3L Diesel · VX65 ATY

The Navara currently holds a valid MOT pass dated 5 February 2026 at 69,685 miles, with the tester recording no defects. Maintenance trend reads stable across the documented lifespan. The sole irregularity is a failure on 28 January 2026 at 69,486 miles that also listed no defects, indicating a non-mechanical or administrative rejection rather than component degradation. A clean retest one week later confirmed roadworthy status. Mileage progression remains below typical for an eleven-year-old vehicle. The 20 October 2022 test at 26,017 miles and the 6 November 2023 test at 43,297 miles capture about 17,280 miles of use in twelve months. By 1 November 2024 the odometer showed 54,476 miles, a reduced 11,179-mile interval. The following entry on 28 January 2026 reads 69,486 miles, equating to roughly 15,000 miles over fourteen months and a three-month delay past the due date. Low annual averages imply light duty, yet intermittent layups can accelerate perishable rubber and hidden corrosion. No advisories or faults appear on any certificate, so the record suggests previous keepers cleared required work before each test. A buyer should still inspect structural integrity and underbody chassis rails for rust, given the Navara's known susceptibility with age. Examine brake discs and calipers for binding, and assess suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking unseen by the tester. Verify exhaust emissions and drivetrain smoothness on a road trial despite the unblemished paperwork.
