2000 Yamaha SR 125 0.1L Petrol · W418 RBU

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with no defects recorded in its last five consecutive MOT tests, including the most recent 2025-10-10 assessment at 26,923 miles. All prior tests from 2021 to 2024 showed similar pass results, indicating consistent maintenance and no emerging mechanical issues. The absence of advisories or failures across this period suggests the bike has been well cared for, with no signs of deteriorating performance or safety risks. The recorded mileage of 26,923 miles over 26 years equates to approximately 1,036 annual miles, a low figure that implies infrequent use or prolonged periods of inactivity. MOT entries show steady annual mileage progression, with each test occurring roughly 12 months apart and mileages increasing by 50–70 miles per year. This pattern suggests minimal operational stress on components like the drivetrain, suspension, and brakes, though it also raises questions about potential long-term storage-related issues such as fluid degradation or rubber component hardening. A buyer should physically inspect the bike’s suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake calipers for signs of age-related wear, as these components may not be fully assessed during MOTs. The low mileage could mask hidden corrosion in the frame or exhaust system, particularly if the vehicle was stored in damp conditions. Additionally, checking the engine’s oil and coolant levels, as well as the condition of the chain and sprockets, would provide clarity on maintenance practices beyond documented MOT records.
