2012 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 2.0L Diesel · WM12 JEJ

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted on 30 April 2025 at 49,543 miles resulted in no recorded defects or advisories. This indicates a stable maintenance trend over the last five years, suggesting that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that prevents the mechanical or structural failures typically flagged in older Italian vehicles. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a 14-year-old car, averaging approximately 3,500 miles per year. Between May 2021 at 41,626 miles and April 2025 at 49,543 miles, the car covered only 7,917 miles. This low usage suggests minimal wear on the drivetrain, engine, and braking components. However, long periods of inactivity can sometimes lead to the degradation of rubber-based components and fluid chemistry, which the MOT record does not fully capture. Despite the clean electronic record, a buyer must perform a physical inspection focusing on components affected by low-mileage age. Particular attention should be paid to the tyres, suspension bushes, and brake hoses, which can perish regardless of distance driven. Because the car has sat for extended periods, checking for corrosion on the underbody and ensuring the brake calipers are not seizing is essential. The lack of any previous advisories in the history suggests no known history of recurring mechanical failure, but the age of the vehicle necessitates a thorough check for age-related material fatigue.
