2018 BMW 320 2.0L Diesel · WO04 OSY

The vehicle presents a stable maintenance profile with a clean MOT history leading up to the most recent inspection. The October 2025 test at 85,953 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of successful inspections throughout 2024 and 2023, suggesting the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that satisfies minimum regulatory requirements without recurring mechanical failures. The mileage accumulation appears consistent with typical UK usage for a vehicle of this age. Between October 2022 and October 2023, the car covered 7,369 miles, and it progressed from 62,892 miles in October 2023 to 72,952 miles in September 2024. The most recent interval between September 2024 and October 2025 saw an increase of 12,999 miles. This steady progression indicates regular road use rather than long periods of standing, which helps mitigate risks associated with perished rubber components or seized calipers. The single failure recorded on 11 October 2022 at 55,523 miles does not indicate a systemic issue, as the vehicle passed immediately upon retest. Because the recent records show no advisories regarding suspension bushes, coil springs, or brake discs, the structural integrity and braking system appear sound on paper. However, a physical inspection is still required to verify the condition of consumable items such as tyre tread depth and wiper blades, which are not captured in these records. A buyer should focus on verifying the service history to complement this MOT data. While the MOT history is clean, it only confirms the vehicle met minimum legal standards and does not guarantee the preventative maintenance of oil changes or timing chain inspections. Given the current mileage of 85,953, a thorough check of the underbody for corrosion and an assessment of the suspension bushings would be prudent to ensure the vehicle's condition matches its documented history.
