2016 Piaggio MP3 0.5L Petrol · WO65 EOG

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on the available MOT history. The most recent inspection conducted on 09 December 2024 at 17,619 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories. This clean record across the last three tests suggests that the mechanical and structural components have remained within acceptable operating parameters without recurring failures or immediate degradation issues. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 1,762 miles per year. Data shows a significant gap in usage between the February 2022 test at 7,644 miles and the March 2023 test at 4,931 miles, which indicates a period of minimal use or storage. However, the vehicle covered 12,688 miles between early 2023 and 2024, showing recent activity. This low annual mileage generally implies less wear on the drivetrain and braking system components. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must focus on components affected by low-mileage storage. An inspection should specifically target the MP3 tilting suspension system for signs of seal or seizing, as rubber seals often perish when a vehicle sits stationary for long periods. Check the brake discs for surface pitting or corrosion and inspect the tyres for age-related cracking, as tread depth often remains sufficient despite structural rot. Verify the condition of the fluids and hoses to ensure the low usage has not led to internal degradation or moisture ingress.
