2011 Volvo XC60 2.4L Diesel · WP11 MFE

This Volvo XC60 presents a stable and unusually clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 20 January 2026 at 191,948 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent four-year trend of clean passes without a single advisory or failure, suggesting a high standard of preventative maintenance that has kept the vehicle compliant with DVSA standards. The mileage is high for a 15-year-old vehicle, averaging nearly 13,000 miles per year. The accumulation has accelerated recently. Between January 2022 and January 2023, the vehicle covered 17,606 miles. By the most recent test in January 2026, the odometer reached 191,948 miles, showing a steady increase of roughly 13,000 to 17,000 miles annually over the last few years. This indicates the car has been used heavily for long-distance commuting or fleet work rather than short urban trips. Despite the clean MOT history, the high mileage necessitates a targeted physical inspection of high-wear components. The record does not flag issues, but components like suspension bushes, coil springs, and engine mounts typically degrade at this mileage. A buyer should check for oil leaks and assess the condition of the brake discs and pads, as these consumables are not always flagged until they reach a critical failure point. Particular attention should be paid to the chassis and underbody for signs of corrosion, which is common for vehicles of this age regardless of MOT outcomes. While the absence of advisories since January 2022 is positive, the sheer volume of miles means the drivetrain and turbocharger have seen significant use. A professional mechanical check of the gearbox and timing belt interval is recommended to ensure the vehicle remains reliable.
