2021 Audi E-Tron S Quattro Electric · WP21 OSM

This Audi e-tron’s most recent MOT test on 2026-02-27 confirms it remains roadworthy, though the immediate preceding test on 2026-02-25 failed without recorded defects—a rare anomaly under DVSA rules, suggesting either a clerical error or a last-minute pre-test adjustment. The absence of any defects across the last four tests implies no recurring mechanical failures, but the February 2026 double-testing raises caution. The vehicle’s history shows a stable pattern of compliance, with no advisories or major faults over the past two years, though the lack of defects in the failure entry cannot be explained without further inspection. The recorded mileage of 54,254 miles at five years old aligns with typical usage patterns, averaging around 10,851 miles annually. There are no obvious gaps in service intervals or abrupt spikes in mileage, though the MOT record does not provide service history, leaving the wear on high-wear components like suspension bushes, brake pads, and drivetrain fluids unverified. The most recent test occurred just six months ago, which is within the standard 12-month MOT cycle for electric vehicles, but the February 2026 failure—despite no reported issues—demands scrutiny of whether the vehicle was driven or tested under atypical conditions. A buyer should prioritise an inspection of the suspension system, particularly the rear coil springs and bushes, given the e-tron’s weight distribution and typical wear patterns at this mileage. The lack of advisories does not preclude hidden corrosion in wheel arches or subframe areas, which can accelerate in electric vehicles due to higher ground clearance and potential fluid leaks. Brake systems, including caliper binding and disc thickness, should be checked for uneven wear, especially if the vehicle has been used for heavy towing or frequent high-speed driving. Finally, the battery cooling system and thermal management components—critical for electric vehicles—should be assessed for any signs of fluid leaks or degraded hoses, as these are not routinely covered by MOT testing.
