2009 Ford Kuga 2.0L Diesel · WU09 LCA

The 2009 Ford Kuga presents a stable roadworthiness profile with no recorded defects across its five most recent MOT tests. The latest examination on 23 April 2025 at 134,726 miles returned a clean pass with no advisories, confirming the vehicle entered the current ownership period in sound mechanical condition. Annual mileage averages 7,925 against the 17-year lifespan, a figure consistent with typical private use. The records show steady accumulation: 112,755 miles in August 2021, rising to 119,095 by August 2022, 124,925 in August 2023, 128,882 in May 2024, and 134,726 by April 2025. No excessive jumps or dormant periods appear. The DVSA data is sparse on fault detail, with every entry listing a pass and no defects recorded. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the vehicle's age and 134,726 miles. The absence of advisories does not preclude age-related corrosion on structural members or worn drivetrain mounts unseen during the test. Verify the service history matches the odometer and check for undertray rust, exhaust condition, and tyre sidewall cracking. The clean MOT trend implies previous owners kept basic upkeep current, but no record replaces a physical appraisal of wear components at this mileage.
