This Hyundai iX20 demonstrates an exceptionally stable maintenance trend and remains roadworthy based on its most recent MOT. The test on 18 November 2025 at 104,479 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This clean bill of health is consistent with the four previous tests dating back to 2021, indicating a vehicle that has been kept in a state of continuous compliance without the typical degradation seen in cars of this vintage. The mileage accumulation is consistent and aligns with typical usage for an eleven year old vehicle. The odometer rose from 51,865 miles in October 2021 to 104,479 miles by November 2025. This represents a steady increase of approximately 13,000 miles per year over the last four years, slightly higher than the lifetime average of 9,498 miles per year. There are no erratic gaps or sudden spikes in usage that would suggest periods of prolonged standing or excessive commercial use. The total absence of advisories or failures across five consecutive years is uncommon for a vehicle exceeding 100,000 miles. It suggests a proactive approach to maintenance where consumables like brake discs, pads, and tyres were likely replaced before they reached the legal limit. The record shows no history of structural corrosion, suspension bush wear, or exhaust leaks, which are common failure points for this model. A physical inspection should still focus on the areas the MOT tester may overlook or that do not trigger a failure. Check the condition of the cabin interior and the operation of the air conditioning system. While the MOT history is flawless, a buyer should verify the service history for oil changes and timing belt intervals to ensure the mechanical longevity matches the clean regulatory record.
