2022 BMW M235I Xdrive Auto 2.0L Petrol · X111 OBY

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile, evidenced by the most recent MOT test on December 6, 2025. This inspection at 14,603 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating a stable mechanical condition. The absence of any flagged faults suggests the vehicle has been maintained to a high standard or has not encountered significant mechanical stress since its initial registration. The recorded mileage of 14,603 miles over four years is significantly below the national average, averaging approximately 3,651 miles per year. This low usage pattern typically results in reduced wear on heavy mechanical components such as the xDrive drivetrain, suspension bushings, and brakes. However, low-mileage vehicles that undergo long periods of standing can occasionally suffer fromrelated flat-spotted tyres or seized brake calipers despite the lack of overall road wear. Since the MOT history is sparse and clean, a buyer should conduct a physical inspection focused on areas where low mileage masks potential issues. Examine the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting, as infrequent use can prevent the protective oxide layer from forming correctly. Inspect the rubber components in the suspension arms for premature cracking or dry rot, which can occur over time regardless of miles driven. Given the high-performance nature of the M235i, verifying that oil changes followed an annual interval rather than just mileage milestones is critical for ensuring engine longevity.
