2012 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · Y4 GWT

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent history of clean passes. The most recent test on November 3, 2025 at 75,700 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded, following a technical failure just one mile prior. This suggests that while the vehicle may have encountered a minor sensor issue or presentation requirement during the initial inspection, the mechanical and structural integrity remains sound according to MOT standards across the latest testing cycle. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 14-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 5,400 miles per year. Between November 2023 at 58,636 miles and November 2024 at 67,457 miles, the car covered 8,821 miles, followed by another 8,243 miles in the subsequent year. This low-frequency use typically indicates less wear on the drivetrain, engine components, and braking system, though it also increases the risk of age-related degradation of rubber components and seals that suffer from time rather than mechanical friction. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components susceptible to low-mileage neglect. Check the condition of the rubber suspension bushes, coil springs, and tyre sidewalls for cracking or perish, which often occurs when vehicles sit stationary. Given the lack of advisories in the records, verify the brake discs for pitting or corrosion and ensure the calipers have not seized due to infrequent use. Inspect the chassis sills and engine mounting points to ensure that structural rust has not compromised the frame despite the clean test history.
