2017 BMW 430 3.0L Diesel · YB17 FNM

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status based on the available inspection history. The most recent MOT conducted on 17 June 2025 at 83,492 miles passed with no defects recorded, indicating that the mechanical and safety components currently meet regulatory standards. This follows a clean pass in March 2024 at 74,793 miles, suggesting that the owner is proactive in addressing potential issues before they escalate. The mileage pattern is consistent with a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,277 miles per year. Between March 2022 at 39,215 miles and April 2023 at 62,161 miles, the car covered over 22,000 miles in a single year, representing a period of high usage compared to the average. However, the usage has slowed significantly recently, with only 8,699 miles recorded between the March 2024 and June 2025 tests. This fluctuation in driving habits does not indicate mechanical neglect but suggests varying wear on the drivetrain and suspension components. A buyer should focus on the brief failure on 28 March 2024 at 74,764 miles. Although the vehicle passed just two days later, the specific reason for that failure is not detailed in the summary, which often masks a minor component that required immediate replacement. Given the age and mileage, a physical inspection of the front control arm bushes and coil springs is advisable, as these often show signs of fatigue at this mileage bracket. The lack of recurring advisories for corrosion or brake binding across all five tests suggests the structural integrity of the chassis remains well-maintained.
