2022 MG ZS SE EV Electric · YC72 KZY

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness evidenced by a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test on 25 May 2026 at 96,021 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This indicates a stable maintenance trend across the last five inspections, suggesting that the vehicle remains maintained to a high standard without recurring mechanical failures or structural degradation being flagged. The mileage profile is exceptionally high for a four-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 24,000 miles per annum. A significant surge in usage occurred between 29 October 2025 at 65,983 miles and 26 November 2025 at 90,320 miles, representing over 24,000 miles driven in just one month. This pattern suggests long-distance motorway or commercial use. While the MOT record remains clean, such rapid accumulation places accelerated stress on wear-related components compared to average private use. Given the high mileage and the lack of recorded faults, a physical inspection should focus on components subjected to high-frequency stress. A buyer should examine the suspension bushes, control arms, and coil springs for signs of premature wear or cracking, which are common in high-mileage EVs. The braking system requires a check for uneven disc wear or binding calipers, as the MOT does not always capture minor hydraulic performance issues. Additionally, verifying the tyre tread depth and consistent wear is vital to ensure the high mileage has not compromised the vehicle's alignment or handling integrity.
