2016 KIA Sorento 2.2L Diesel · YG16 ACA

The vehicle presents a stable maintenance profile with a clean MOT history leading up to the most recent test. The May 2025 inspection at 74,891 miles shows a successful pass with no recorded defects or advisories. While the record shows a failed result on that same date, the immediate pass indicates that any identified issues were rectified promptly, maintaining a consistent standard of roadworthiness over the last several years. The mileage accumulation appears consistent with a typical ten-year usage pattern. The vehicle has covered 74,891 miles, averaging approximately 7,489 miles per year. The data shows steady progression from 51,824 miles in May 2022 to 67,097 miles in May 2024, and finally reaching 74,891 miles in May 2025. This steady incremental increase suggests regular road use rather than long periods of stationary storage, which helps mitigate the risk of seized components or perished rubber seals. Because the MOT history is notably clean and lacks recurring advisories for suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions, there are no immediate red flags regarding structural integrity or major mechanical wear. However, since the record is devoid of minor consumable advisories, a physical inspection should focus on verifying the current condition of tyres and wiper blades. A buyer should also check for signs of underside corrosion or brake binding, as these common wear items are not explicitly detailed in the recent passing records.
