2018 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · YH68 CLV

The vehicle remains roadworthy, though the maintenance history reveals a clear trend of component degradation related to low usage intervals. The most recent test in March 2026 at 19,649 miles identified worn front brake discs, which continues a progression of brake-related advisories noted in previous years. While the car consistently passes, the recurring nature of these advisories indicates that components are failing due to age and oxidation rather than high-mile wear. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for an eight-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,456 miles per annum. There is a significant gap in records between the August 2021 test at 11,711 miles and the February 2023 test at 15,568 miles. This period suggests the vehicle likely sits for long durations, which explains the persistent issues with perished rubber components and surface corrosion on the braking hardware despite the low distance travelled. A buyer must conduct a thorough physical inspection of the tyres specifically, as the record shows consistent cracking and perishing across all four tyres from 2023, 2024, and 2025. The nearside front tyre reached the legal limit in February 2025, suggesting the rubber compound is hardening regardless of tread depth. The buyer should also inspect the front brake discs and calipers for heavy pitting or uneven scoring, as the tester has flagged these components multiple times since 2023. The TPMS light noted in 2025 also requires verification to ensure the sensor is functional and not masking a slow leak.
