2006 Volkswagen Golf 1.9L Diesel · YT06 GLZ

The 2006 Volkswagen Golf is presently roadworthy, having passed its November 2025 MOT at 99,714 miles with no defects recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend. The mileage progression shows a steady increase of roughly 5,000 miles per year since 2021, with no abrupt jumps; the vehicle has accumulated about 4,986 miles annually, indicating light usage or extended periods of inactivity relative to its 20‑year age. A buyer should therefore examine the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, inspect brake discs and calipers for binding or uneven wear, verify structural integrity for rust or corrosion, and check tyre tread depth and wiper condition, as these items represent the most common mechanical concerns despite the clean MOT history.
