2007 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · YT07 AED

The vehicle remains roadworthy, having passed its most recent MOT on 18 October 2025 at 75,383 miles with no recorded defects. The successive annual passes from 2021 through 2025 show a stable maintenance record, with no deterioration evident in the official test outcomes. Mileage has accumulated modestly for a 2007 model, rising from 62,508 miles on 26 September 2021 to 75,383 miles on 18 October 2025. That equates to roughly 3,200 miles per year, well below the typical annual average for a car of this age. No abrupt spikes or prolonged gaps appear in the log, suggesting consistent, low‑intensity use rather than periods of neglect or heavy loading. Although the MOT history records no failures, a prospective buyer should still verify the condition of wear items and structural elements. Inspect tyre tread depth and sidewall integrity, as tyre wear is not captured by the MOT. Examine the suspension – particularly the front and rear bushes, coil springs, and any signs of uneven wear that could indicate hidden loads. Check brake discs and pads for scoring or glazing, and confirm that the calipers operate without binding. A visual survey for corrosion on wheel arches, chassis rails, and under‑body panels will reveal any emerging rust that the MOT may have missed. A final walk‑around should include a functional test of lights, wipers, and the exhaust system for excess smoke or noise. Confirm that the steering feels crisp and that there is no excessive play. These checks will complement the clean MOT record and give a comprehensive picture of the car’s mechanical health before purchase.
