2011 Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0L Diesel · YY11 GNO

This Vauxhall Vivaro has demonstrated a stable roadworthiness trend over the past two years, with the most recent MOT test on 2026-01-20 confirming no defects at 118,194 miles. The vehicle has passed every test since January 2024, though the record shows two consecutive retests in February 2025 and January 2024—both failed at just one mile apart—indicating a brief but resolved administrative or minor procedural oversight rather than a recurring mechanical issue. No advisories or defects were ever recorded, suggesting the vehicle has been maintained consistently enough to avoid major failures. However, the lack of any advisories in the most recent tests means no pre-existing issues were flagged for attention before passing. The mileage progression of approximately 7,880 miles annually aligns with typical usage for a vehicle of this age, with no abrupt spikes or prolonged periods of inactivity. The gap between the 2025 and 2026 tests is just six months, which is standard for MOT intervals, and the recorded mileage increments are consistent. There is no evidence of excessive wear from high mileage or neglect from low mileage, though the absence of service records means wear on components like suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake pads cannot be confirmed without further inspection. Given the clean MOT history, a buyer should prioritise a thorough visual and functional inspection of high-wear areas. The suspension—particularly the rear bushes and coil springs—should be checked for excessive play or corrosion, as these components often fail silently and can compromise ride quality and handling. Brake discs and calipers should be inspected for uneven wear or binding, though the lack of past brake-related failures is reassuring. Structural integrity, especially around wheel arches and sills, must be examined for corrosion, as this van model is prone to rust in high-exposure areas. Finally, the exhaust system should be tested for leaks or excessive rust, as emissions-related failures are uncommon but not unheard of in this age range.
