2007 Citroen Berlingo 1.6L Diesel · BAZ 8109

The current roadworthiness status of this Citroen Berlingo is excellent, characterized by a highly stable maintenance trend. The vehicle successfully passed its most recent MOT on 25 March 2026 at 68,984 miles with no defects or advisories recorded. This clean bill of health has remained consistent over the last five years, indicating that the vehicle has been subjected to diligent upkeep and regular servicing throughout this period. The recorded mileage of 68,984 over nineteen years equates to a modest annual average of approximately 3,631 miles. This low-mileage profile suggests the vehicle has likely been used for short, intermittent journeys rather than heavy motorway transit. While such usage patterns often spare the drivetrain from high-speed wear, they can occasionally lead to issues related to infrequent operation, such as seized brake components or degraded rubber seals. The absence of recorded failures or advisories in the recent history implies that any such risks have been effectively managed by the previous owner. Prospective buyers should focus their physical inspection on components that typically suffer from age-related deterioration rather than high-mileage wear. Prioritize a thorough check of the suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake hoses, as these rubber and metal components can perish or corrode regardless of low mileage. Inspect the underside of the chassis for any signs of structural corrosion, which is a common concern for vehicles of this vintage. Given the clean MOT record, the primary objective is to verify that the vehicle has not been sitting stationary for extended durations, which would necessitate a fresh inspection of the battery, exhaust system, and fluid conditions.
