2022 Audi S6 Black ED TDI Mhev Quattro A 3.0L Heavy oil · CMZ 2782

The most recent MOT, carried out on 28 January 2026, was passed with no recorded defects or advisories. With only a single MOT entry available, there is no trend of recurring failures to analyse, but the clean result indicates that the vehicle was in a road‑worthy condition at the time of testing and that any required maintenance up to that point had been addressed satisfactorily. At four years old the Audi S6 has logged 30,224 miles, which works out to roughly 7,500 miles per annum. This usage level sits comfortably within the normal band for a performance sedan and suggests a moderate driving style rather than either heavy high‑speed touring or prolonged periods of inactivity. There are no obvious gaps in the mileage record, so the wear on consumables such as tyres, brake pads and clutch components should be proportionate to the distance covered and the vehicle’s quattro drivetrain. For a prospective buyer the primary focus should be on age‑related checks rather than mileage‑driven wear. Inspect the tyre sidewalls for any cracking, dry rot or uneven wear patterns that can develop even on low‑kilometre tyres after four years, particularly on the front‑right where the quattro system may impose slightly higher loads. Examine the 12 V battery terminals for corrosion and confirm that the battery holds a healthy charge; a four‑year‑old battery may be approaching the end of its service life, especially if the car has spent time standing. Verify that all fluid reservoirs – engine oil, coolant, brake fluid and the diesel particulate filter regeneration system – have been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s calendar intervals, as fluids can degrade over time regardless of mileage. During a test drive listen for any clunk or squeak from the suspension bushes, especially when traversing bumps, as the sport‑tuned coil springs and anti‑roll bars can develop wear on the bushings after a few years of use. Observe the braking response for any pulsation or shudder, which could indicate disc corrosion or a binding caliper that often appears on cars that have been idle for extended periods. Finally, check that the exhaust system is free of leaks and that the emission control components, notably the diesel particulate filter and selective catalytic reduction system, are operating correctly; any warning lights or unusual exhaust smoke should be investigated before finalising the purchase.
