2015 Audi A3 2.0L Diesel · G23 DEB

This 2015 Audi A3 currently maintains a clean roadworthiness profile, with the most recent test conducted on 29 September 2025 resulting in a pass with no recorded defects. The vehicle has demonstrated a highly stable maintenance trend over the last four years, showing a consistent ability to meet DVSA standards without recurring mechanical failures or advisory items. The absence of defects across the 2022, 2024, and 2025 tests suggests that the vehicle has been subject to diligent preventative maintenance and responsible ownership. The recorded mileage of 108,900 miles over an eleven-year lifespan averages approximately 9,900 miles per annum, which aligns with typical usage patterns for this class of vehicle. The MOT history shows no concerning gaps in testing, indicating that the car has remained in regular service rather than experiencing prolonged periods of inactivity that might lead to seized components or perished rubber seals. The failed test on 20 October 2023 appears to be an administrative or minor anomaly, as the vehicle passed just three days later with a clean sheet, suggesting no significant underlying mechanical failure occurred during that window. Prospective buyers should focus their physical inspection on high-wear components that often escape the scope of a basic MOT, specifically the condition of the turbocharger and the dual-mass flywheel, as these are common failure points on high-mileage Audi diesel or petrol engines. While the MOT record is exemplary, you should verify the service history for evidence of timing belt replacement, which is critical at this mileage interval. Check the suspension bushings and control arms for signs of play, as these rubber components naturally degrade over 100,000 miles even if they currently pass a visual inspection. The lack of historical advisories is encouraging, but you must still confirm that the brake discs and pads have sufficient material remaining for safe operation.
