1996 Honda CBR1100XX 1.1L Petrol · H11 TOJ

The 1996 Honda CBR1100XX is presently roadworthy, with the August 5 2022 MOT at 35,004 miles confirming a pass and no recorded defects, indicating a stable maintenance trend. The recorded mileage of 35,004 miles over roughly 30 years translates to an average of 1,167 miles per year, indicating light use or extended periods of inactivity. The two consecutive annual tests, one in August 2021 at 34,977 miles and the next in August 2022 at 35,004 miles, show a steady mileage increase of 27 miles, confirming consistent but modest usage. A buyer should therefore examine the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, verify that the rear brake calipers are not binding and that the brake discs show even wear, inspect the exhaust system for rust or leaks, and assess the structural integrity for corrosion, while also checking tyre tread and condition, as these components are the most likely to reveal hidden issues despite the clean MOT record.
