2015 MINI Cooper 1.5L Diesel · S200 ABX

The 2015 MINI Cooper shows a sound roadworthiness status, with the latest DVSA examination on 18 June 2025 at 80,303 miles recording a pass and no defects. The maintenance trend is stable across the five available tests, exhibiting no failures, advisories, or recurring mechanical concerns from 2022 to 2025. Mileage progression reflects typical use for an eleven-year-old vehicle. In the 19 April 2022 test at 47,084 miles the car passed clean; a subsequent test on 8 July 2022 at 47,423 miles added only 339 miles, indicating either a short-interval re-test or a period of minimal running. From that point, distance accrued predictably: 58,442 miles by 23 June 2023, 68,876 by 12 June 2024, and 80,303 by 18 June 2025. This yields approximately 10,000 to 11,500 miles annually, matching expected averages. The record contains no entries before 2022, leaving earlier upkeep unconfirmed. No tester flagged suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, binding calipers, corrosion, or exhaust anomalies, which implies prior owners met statutory standards without deferred repairs. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity beneath the sills and subframes, as age-related rust can develop between tests. Verify tyre tread depth, wiper condition, and fluid levels, since these consumables fall outside MOT defect logging when within limits. The consistent pass record suggests routine compliance rather than reactive fixing. Given the sparse pre-2022 history, examine service invoices to corroborate mileage and confirm camchain maintenance on this petrol unit.
