2005 Volkswagen Sharan 1.9L Diesel · SJ54 AGV

The 2005 Volkswagen Sharan is presently roadworthy, having passed its most recent MOT on 23 April 2022 at 132,125 miles with no defects recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend. At 21 years of age, the recorded mileage averages about 6,292 miles per year, which aligns with typical usage for a vehicle of this vintage and shows no evidence of unusually rapid mileage accumulation or prolonged periods of inactivity. The single MOT entry provides a clean snapshot, but no earlier test data are available to assess longer‑term trends. A buyer should therefore inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, examine the brake calipers and discs for binding or corrosion, verify tyre tread depth, and look for any structural rust on the chassis or wheel arches, as these components commonly show signs of age at this mileage. Given the vehicle's age and mileage, a thorough pre‑purchase inspection focusing on these areas will confirm whether the recent MOT reflects genuine condition or if hidden wear has developed since the last test.
