2016 Volvo V60 2.4L Diesel · T8 HLY

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a clear trend of improving maintenance standards. The most recent inspection conducted in July 2025 at 83,680 miles resulted in no defects recorded, indicating that the mechanical and safety components currently meet all statutory requirements. This follows a period of clean passes over several years, suggesting that the current ownership is proactive in addressing issues before they escalate into failures. The mileage pattern is consistent with a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 8,300 miles per annum. Between December 2022 at 61,854 miles and July 2025 at 83,680 miles, the car covered 21,826 miles, representing a steady and realistic usage rate. There are no significant gaps in the testing history that would suggest long periods of stationary storage, which often leads to rubber degradation or seized brake components. The data reflects a vehicle that has been used regularly and maintained through the official testing system. The only recorded faults occurred during the December 2020 test at 46,440 miles, where defective windscreen wiper blades and front tyres worn to the legal limit were noted. The inner-edge wear on the front tyres specifically indicates a past alignment issue or worn suspension bushes and bushings. While no such issues have appeared since then, a buyer should still verify the current tyre condition for even wear and inspect the suspension geometry for excessive play. Given the lack of advisories in the last three tests, there is no evidence of recurring structural corrosion or deteriorating mechanical components that require immediate attention.
