2009 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · WA58 ALB

This vehicle presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 25 September 2025 at 109,910 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to September 2021, suggesting a high standard of preventative maintenance and a vehicle that has been kept in good mechanical order. The mileage pattern is consistent with the age of the car. Between the September 2021 test at 101,312 miles and the September 2025 test at 109,910 miles, the vehicle covered 8,598 miles over four years. This indicates very light usage in recent years, averaging roughly 2,150 miles per annum. Such low annual mileage reduces the immediate wear on the drivetrain and suspension components but can sometimes lead to issues with perished rubber seals or battery degradation due to inactivity. The absence of any advisories over five years of testing is rare for a 2009 model. The tester flagged no issues with brake disc thickness, tyre tread, or suspension bushes across all entries. There are no recurring faults to suggest systemic failures or neglected upkeep. The lack of mentioned corrosion is particularly positive for a Ford Fiesta of this era, which often suffers from structural rust on the sills and rear arches. A physical inspection should focus on the effects of low usage rather than mechanical failure. Check for flat spots on the tyres and ensure the brake calipers are not sticking due to prolonged periods of standing. While the MOT record is flawless, a buyer should verify the service history to ensure the engine oil and coolant were changed regardless of the low mileage to prevent internal sludge buildup.
