2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD Electric · WU22 BYH

The vehicle's current roadworthiness status is confirmed by a clean pass in the most recent test on 14 March 2026 at 67,559 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable and improving, moving from a failure in February 2025 to consecutive clean passes in March 2025 and March 2026. This suggests that any issues identified during the 2025 failure were successfully rectified, bringing the vehicle back to a compliant standard. The mileage accumulation is significant for a four-year-old vehicle. The data shows the car has covered 67,559 miles, averaging approximately 16,890 miles per year. This high annual mileage indicates heavy usage, likely consisting of frequent long-distance motorway trips. While the MOT history shows no structural or mechanical defects, the rapid accumulation of miles places higher demand on consumable components and suspension systems compared to average domestic use. A prospective buyer should conduct a thorough physical inspection of the suspension bushings, control arms, and coil springs. High-mileage electric vehicles often experience accelerated wear on these components due to the increased weight of the battery pack. You should also check the condition of the brake discs and calipers for uneven wear or scoring, and inspect the tyre tread depth and sidewall integrity, as high-mileage vehicles often show signs of frequent replacement. Given the heavy usage pattern, scrutinise the underbody for any signs of excessive corrosion or impact damage to the battery casing. While the MOT record is clean, the high mileage means the vehicle has undergone significant thermal cycles and mechanical stress. Focus your inspection on the drive units and any signs of fluid leaks, as these areas will have seen the most consistent wear over the 67,559 miles recorded.
