1993 Ducati 900SS 0.9L Petrol · XXI 466

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by a clean pass record over the last five years. The most recent test on 30 August 2024 at 26,441 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This historical consistency suggests that the motorcycle has been maintained to a standard that meets the minimum legal requirements without any recurring mechanical or structural failures being flagged during the inspection process. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 33-year-old machine, averaging approximately 800 miles per year. Between August 2020 at 25,213 miles and August 2024 at 26,441 miles, the vehicle covered only 1,228 miles. This low rate of use indicates the bike is likely stored in a dry environment and used only occasionally. While this limits the wear on the drivetrain and engine components, long periods of standing can often lead to the degradation of rubber components and fluid chemistry that an MOT may not fully capture. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must conduct a physical inspection of components susceptible to low-mileage neglect. Focus specifically on checking the fuel lines, brake hoses, and fork seals for perished or cracking rubber due to age rather than use. Inspect the brake calipers for corrosion and ensure the tyres are not flat-squared from lack of movement. Since the record shows no historical rust advisories, the structural integrity of the frame appears sound, but the mechanical state of the suspension and the age of the fluids should be verified to ensure the bike is ready for immediate riding.
