2018 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · A16 MBL

The 2018 Toyota Aygo presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 6 January 2026 at 15,334 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean MOT outcomes across the available history. The mileage pattern shows exceptionally light use for an eight-year-old vehicle. From the 21 December 2021 test at 10,783 miles to the 6 January 2026 test at 15,334 miles, the car covered only 4,551 miles across just over four years, averaging roughly 1,100 miles annually. Records show no gaps in testing and no rapid accumulation events; every annual test passed with zero advisories, which suggests the previous keeper maintained statutory inspections punctually and the car spent long periods stationary. A clean MOT sheet with no advisories on suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, or structural corrosion means the official record raises no red flags on mechanical or structural condition. Low mileage combined with standing time can still mask perished rubber components and flat-spotted tyres unseen by the tester. A buyer should physically inspect the tyres for sidewall cracking and uneven wear, check the brake calipers for binding after the car has stood, and confirm the exhaust emissions remain clean on a cold start. The Aygo's subframe and sills should be viewed for early corrosion given its age, though the DVSA record currently shows none.
