2014 Ford Fiesta 1.6L Diesel · AB13 COL

The vehicle presents a stable and exceptionally clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT on 15 October 2025 at 133,561 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to 2022, suggesting a high standard of preventative maintenance and a vehicle that is kept in good mechanical order. Mileage accumulation is consistent with the age of the car. The odometer rose from 119,291 miles on 11 October 2022 to 133,561 miles by October 2025. This represents a steady usage pattern of approximately 14,000 miles over three years, avoiding the risks associated with long periods of standing or excessive short-trip wear. The brief failure on 16 October 2023 was resolved within two days, and the lack of recorded defects during that failure suggests a minor administrative or easily rectified issue rather than a systemic mechanical fault. While the MOT history is devoid of flagged failures, a buyer should still perform targeted physical checks due to the vehicle's age and mileage. At 133,561 miles, wear on suspension bushes, coil springs, and engine mounts is expected regardless of a clean test sheet. The absence of advisories regarding brake discs or tyre tread suggests the previous owner replaced consumables proactively, but a manual check for oil leaks and timing belt replacement records is advised. The lack of any mentioned corrosion or structural integrity issues across five years of testing is a positive indicator for a Ford Fiesta of this era. Focus your inspection on the condition of the exhaust system and the smoothness of the gear transitions to ensure the drivetrain matches the clean record provided by the DVSA.
